From the New York Times:
Two months after Fox News said it had wiped out a bedbug infestation in its Midtown Manhattan newsroom, a network employee who says she was bitten on three occasions has filed a negligence suit against the building’s owners and managing agent and two cleaning companies. In a suit filed Thursday, the employee, Jane Clark, a coordinator in the department that transmits the channel’s satellite feeds around the world, seeks unspecified damages for “pain, shock, mental anguish,” which she says resulted from bites on her arms, leg and neck. Ms. Clark is on medical leave. Fox News is not named in the suit. A statement by one of the building owners and Cushman & Wakefield, its managing agent, said tenants were responsible for providing extermination services. Still, the statement added, “As a prudent step, we are bringing in outside, independent experts to review the situation.” On March 17 a Fox executive said that the infestation appeared to have originated in the home of another employee.
