Don't bet on it.
State GOP Chair Robin Smith is in DC right now hearing the riot act from the McCain campaign after turning the state party into a national disgrace with an anti-Obama press release. Blame seems to be falling squarely on the shoulders of state party Communications Director Bill Hobbs, and for just cause.
The Nashville Post reports that Tennessee's top Republicans are calling for Hobbs's head. They'll likely have it tomorrow at the GOP Executive Committee meeting at the state capitol. Good riddance.

Robin was in DC on a previously scheduled business trip that had nothing to do with the controversial press release. Riot acts were not read.
Come Monday morning I'll still be working at the TNGOP. Monday March 3rd - and Monday November 3rd.

I hope so, Bill. I wish you luck.
