Dodge cars and downtown traffic

When we were researching yesterday's piece on drunk driving, we came across an interesting chart that we thought was worth sharing. It tracks the number and type of accidents that happen along the highways that loop Nashville's downtown.

Whether the problem is highway design or with drivers who aren't as attentive as they should be in these situations, we hope state and local law enforcement is paying attention to the growing number of accidents in the loop will take action to reduce the number of crashes.
